Samantha Dorsey
Executive Director
My name is Samantha Dorsey, and I’ve proudly been part of the FishCreek Kids Academy team since March of 2017. During my time here, I’ve had the honor of serving as the Executive Director, a role that allows me to lead with passion, purpose, and a deep commitment to early childhood education.I’ve been in the early childhood education field since 2001, and in 2008, I earned my CDA (Child Development Associate) credential with a focus on infant and toddler development. That newfound knowledge sparked a lifelong passion for supporting young children during the most critical years of their development.
What I love most about my work is watching the joy and growth in every child who walks through our doors. It’s a privilege to lead a team that shares the same dedication to nurturing young minds, and I feel incredibly fortunate to do what I love every single day.
Outside of school, my life is just as full, I live in Montgomery, I have traveled all over this great country and there is nowhere else I’d rather call home! I’m a proud pet mom to Rip, my curious long haired tuxedo cat, and Rowdy, my spirited mini schnauzer. They definitely live up to their names!
FishCreek Kids Academy is a school I am very proud of, and I am glad to be able to say that I am part of an amazing team. I truly love my school, and I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and making a difference in the lives of children and their families every day.
Samantha Fuller
Director of Education
Hello all, my name is Samantha Fuller and I am the Director of Education here at FCKA. I was born and raised in the Houston area and LOVE this great state. After graduating high school I went on to pursue an Associates of Science and my Child Development Associates. I have been working in child care for over 15 years in all different types of schools and have truly enjoyed and remember all my students! It is such a great experience to be that figure in a child’s life and helping them through milestones, lessons, and everyday struggles.
When I am not working, I spend most of my time playing tennis, making homeopathic/essential oil lotions and perfumes, spending time with my four wonderful nieces and nephews, my family, and my two dogs (Jax and Lacy).
Christi Staten
Infant Department Supervisor
Hello, my name is Christi Staten. Since 2016, I’ve proudly called myself a member of the FishCreek family, a place that has become so much more than a workplace—it’s a second home. Over the past nine years, I’ve poured my heart into the Infant Department, where I’ve not only grown professionally but also personally. Watching my precious babies grow from tiny, curious little people into confident kindergarteners has been one of the greatest joys.
In 2024, I took the next step in my journey by joining our administrative team as a supervisor in our infant department. That same year, I earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a focus on infants and toddlers—a milestone that reflects my deep passion for early childhood education.
Beyond my career, my greatest source of pride has always been my family. My husband, David, and I have been married since 2000, and together we’ve raised three incredible young men. Now, we get to experience the joy of grandparenting as we watch our four beautiful grandchildren grow.
I look forward to what the future may hold as I continue my journey here at FishCreek Kids Academy!
